Happy 2015!! A new year is always filled with fresh beginnings and the greatest of possibilities. I’m excited to see what the God of all grace and mercy is waiting to unfold this year. A great to way to kick off a new year is to hear all the kind and encouraging comments about All Dressed Up. I had a friend share with today me that she loved that the main character was a Christian and how that was an inspiration to her throughout book. She said, "You don’t find many books like that today." It warmed my heart. I was reminded that even though I very much enjoyed writing the book, my overall purpose was to the share the gospel of Christ in a modern and fun way. Like Katelyn, we all have flaws and none of us are perfect, but we are striving to become all that God has purposed and intended us to be. His purpose and desire for us is that we become more and more like His son, Jesus. Lord knows, I stumble and fall every day. The overall picture is clear, God loves us despite our flaws and our shortcomings. If we focus and set our minds on what the God of the universe sees inside of us, there is nothing we can't accomplish! And, isn’t it good to know that we can laugh along the way?
“Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.”
