Seeds of Grace
Happy 2018 everyone. I hope your new year is sprouting seeds of abundance and grace. For many of us January begins with a time of reflection, resolutions, and, wonder of all that the new year may hold. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been catching glimpses of things past, present, and things to come. A few years have gone by since the release of my first novel, All Dressed Up. For those of you who have read it, I hope you enjoyed it and were inspired in some way to know that we are all beautiful in the eyes of our amazing Creator. I also hope it made you laugh and provided a little needed distraction from the chaos of this thing we call life. As a wife and mother, I know I need that from time to time. My desire as a fiction writer has always been to write stories that warm the heart, create unexpected moments of laughter and encourage those tender places within the soul.
It’s been quiet for a while for me on the writing side. Motherhood, as it should, has taken on a more important role. Finding time to put fingers to the keyboard has shall we say been overwhelmingly scarce. Rest assured my dear friends, the ideas and stories are still there in my heart and mind. As any beautiful flower, they will find their right time and place to bloom. Let me share a secret with you. . . new inspiration, products and direction are beginning to take shape. I look forward to sharing them with you soon. Here is a hint inspired from a treasured scripture:
“Kind words are like honey, sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.” -Psalm 16:2
